Known as a common spice in every household, Clove contains a strong anaesthetic known as Eugenol which works as an antiseptic to fight bacteria that may cause infections in your mouth. It also works as an anti-fungal and antiviral agent.

Cloves are very effective in fighting cavities that they are often added to oral care products such as toothpaste and mouthwash.

A simple home remedy to use Clove for your dental needs are by placing few whole cloves in your mouth, moistening and softening them in your mouth and then crushing them with the non-painful molars until you release their pain-relieving oil.
